Fares
MoGo offers several fare options. Note that some of these options are only available through the Transit App, while others may be available via the kiosks at stations.
Per-trip fares
For the following fares, you pay for each trip:
- Pay as you go: $1 fee to unlock one bike, and $0.25 per minute to ride.
- The 1 Hour Pass costs $10 to unlock up to four bikes, for up to 60 minutes. Additional minutes beyond 60 minutes are charged at $0.25 per minute over.
Timed passes
The following fares are timed passes that allow unlimited trips (up to 60 minutes; with an $0.25 per-minute overage fee) during the time that the pass is active.
- The Explore the City pass costs $15. This pass lasts for 3 days.
- The Monthly pass costs $20. This pass lasts for 30 days.
- The Annual pass costs $90. This pass lasts for 365 days.
Finally, there is a ride-time limited pass:
- The Prepaid Pass costs $18 for unlimited trips without an expiration. However, you can only take up to 2 hours of rides across all those trips; if your last trip goes over the 2 hour mark, you will be charged $0.25 for every additional minute.
Adaptive Fares
MoGo adaptive cycles are available from May to October in two locations, Ferndale and Detroit. There are two adaptive fare options:
- The Single Trip Adaptive Pass costs $9.00 or $15.00 and provides access to any of the adaptive cycles for either a 1 or 2 hour trip. For trips beyond this time limit, users pay $10.00 for each additional hour.
- The Adaptive Seasonal Pass provides unlimited trips on all adaptive cycles until October 31. For trips beyond 2 hours, users pay an additional $10.00 per hour.
